Knitting Frustration
Prior to starting my job, I got two projects set up on needles. One is a “free form” top-down children’s sweater, and the other is a children’s hat. The first one took some time to figure out the math, and so did the latter. I did a swatch even with the hat.
So that makes me all the more frustrated when I realized that my half finished sweater needs to be completely frogged (ripped out) because the sides are too short compared to the back, and that the hat is too big for even a child with encephalitis!
I’ve put the sweater away until my next knitting group meeting, because I can’t bear to think about it. The hat is already just a ball of yarn, and I’ll be starting it again.
Sometimes things just don’t go as planned. My first thought is to start with scarves again, but I know I can do more than that!
