Officially Homeowners
As of approximately 6:30 this evening we became first time homeowners in Jerusalem! Our new apartment is approximately 97 sq meters, three bedrooms and an amazing view of the Dead Sea. (which you only see a few times a year) I stopped by the apartment this morning and saw the view…it truly took my breath away!
Now we just have to find a builder to make my “dream kitchen” and fix a bunch of little things here and there. If anyone out there is good at interior design and wants to give some advice, let me know.

Mazal Tov to you!!! We built a kitchen two years ago and I can tell you what I like and what I don’t, but designing is not my thing.

Mazal tov! My ideal kitchen is tiny and functional, so I’m certainly not one to offer any design ideas or support. Good luck finding an honest, hard-working kablan!

Woohoo!! I’ll go over my design books and see if I can find any good or interesting kitchens.. The best tip I can think of off the top of my head is not to buy anything kitchen-related in Ikea except maybe dishes and glasses.. (and this is from someone who LOVES Ikea

MII & Moze: I’ve got two kablan possibilites which both look good–I’ve seen one’s work and it is good.
Ayelet: It is basically one wall for cabinets. I’m suprised that you are against Ikea…I like the look…
