I believe my copay for going to urgent care is $50...and this is considered "reasonably good" insurance in the U.S. I feel sorry for Obama. Every time he gets close to suggesting anything that sounds even CLOSE to the Israeli system, he is accused of being a socialist. Why is it that so many citizens of the U.S. have no problem with governmental intrusion when civil rights are being taken away, but they get incredibly skittish of "govenmental interference" when it comes to actually helping people? Sorry...tripped over my own soapbox there.

he? I assume you mean your husband?

Yes, the Israeli system is excellent. Not sure about scalability, but the Obamacare system doesn't even attempt to take from the better healthcare systems that are out there.

Hi.
This is Avraham Saltoun form Armon Ha Natsiv.

It is easy to see that you are putting work on top of the priority, classic American, BTW.

By all standards and eyes, you need this vacation, from parenting as an emergency measure before something worse happens.

This translates into leaving the kids with Ron while he will be absent from work a few days, if not a week, NO MATTER WHAT.

If this is a tough sell, contact your rav on marital coach.

He can also call me for questions (I am not a rav or coach though).

regards.

Me too. My trips to chu"l are a great change of pace for me, for various reasons.
Maybe you can take a shorter trip next time?
In my experience kids fight more when we are upset or the atmosphere is tense.

I am so impressed that you read recipes in Hebrew!!

I would love to read the pudding recipe in English!! (though it looks like it needs an electric mixer, so I probably would never make it...)
